Guar Gum Futures Fall on Low Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices dropped Rs 56 to Rs 10,730 per five quintals on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to weak spot market demand and ample supplies.
New Delhi, May 30 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Thursday dropped Rs 56 to Rs 10,730 per five quintals in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for June delivery fell Rs 56 or 0.52 per cent to Rs 10,730 per five quintals in 31,710 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
