Guar Gum Futures Fall on Low Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices dropped on Tuesday due to weak demand in the spot market and ample supplies. Traders offloaded their holdings, pushing prices down by Rs 168 per five quintals.
New Delhi, Jun 25 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday dropped Rs 168 to Rs 10,633 per five quintals in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for July delivery fell Rs 168 or 1.58 per cent to Rs 10,633 per five quintals in 41,885 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
