Guar Gum Futures Fall on Low Demand
Guar gum futures declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to weak demand and ample supply in the spot market.
New Delhi, Feb 27 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Thursday fell by Rs 36 to Rs 10,021 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for March delivery fell Rs 36 or 0.36 per cent to Rs 10,021 per quintal in 38,730 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
