Guar Gum Futures Fall on Weak Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices dropped on Monday due to low demand in the spot market and ample supplies. Traders offloaded holdings, leading to a decline of Rs 96 per five quintals.
New Delhi, May 27 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday dropped Rs 96 to Rs 10,791 per five quintals in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for June delivery fell Rs 96 or 0.89 per cent to Rs 10,791 per five quintals in 39,805 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
