Guar Gum Futures Fall on Weak Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures dropped on Monday due to low demand in the spot market and ample supplies. Prices fell Rs 215 to Rs 10,517 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Aug 5 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday dropped Rs 215 to Rs 10,517 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for August delivery fell Rs 215 or 2.04 per cent to Rs 10,517 per quintal in 19,705 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
