Guar Gum Futures Fall on Weak Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices dropped on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to low demand in the spot market and ample supply from growing regions.
New Delhi, Sep 18 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday dropped Rs 99 to Rs 10,809 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for October delivery fell Rs 99 or 0.92 per cent to Rs 10,809 per quintal in 49,335 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
