Guar gum futures prices declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to weak demand and ample supplies in the spot market.
New Delhi, May 15 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Thursday fell Rs 22 to Rs 9,746 per quintal in the futures trade as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for June delivery declined Rs 22 or 0.23 per cent to Rs 9,746 per quintal in 49,500 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
