Guar Gum Futures Plunge on Weak Demand - PTI
Guar gum futures prices declined by Rs 20 to Rs 10,061 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to weak demand and ample supply.
New Delhi, Dec 2 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday dropped Rs 20 to Rs 10,061 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for December delivery fell Rs 20 or 0.20 per cent to Rs 10,061 per quintal in 28,270 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
