Guar Gum Futures Plunge on Weak Demand - PTI
Guar gum futures declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to low demand in the spot market and ample supplies.
New Delhi, Jan 31 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday declined Rs 99 to Rs 10,279 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for February delivery fell Rs 99 or 0.96 per cent to Rs 10,279 per quintal in 33,510 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
