Guar Gum Futures Rise on Strong Demand

Guar gum futures prices surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to firm spot demand and increased speculation.
New Delhi, Oct 29 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday rose Rs 18 to Rs 10,742 per quintal in the futures market as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for November delivery advanced Rs 18 or 0.17 per cent to Rs 10,742 per quintal in 18,930 lots.
Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
