Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices rose on Wednesday due to increased speculation and firm spot demand, according to PTI. The November contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange traded higher by Rs 48 per quintal.
New Delhi, Oct 9 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday increased Rs 48 to Rs 11,102 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for November delivery traded higher by Rs 48 or 0.43 per cent at Rs 11,102 per quintal with an open interest of 46,740 lots.
Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
