Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices rose on Wednesday due to firm demand and increased speculation. The February contract gained 1.16% to Rs 10,439 per five quintals on the NCDEX.
New Delhi, Jan 24 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday increased Rs 121 to Rs 10,439 per five quintals in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for February delivery traded higher by Rs 121 or 1.16 per cent at Rs 10,439 per five quintals with an open interest of 48,025 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
