Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices rose on Wednesday due to increased speculation and firm spot demand. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) saw guar gum contracts for February delivery trading higher by Rs 175 or 1.75 percent at Rs 10,015 per five quintals.
New Delhi, Feb 14 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday increased Rs 175 to Rs 10,015 per five quintals in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for February delivery traded higher by Rs 175 or 1.75 per cent at Rs 10,015 per five quintals with an open interest of 3,420 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
