Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices rose on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to firm spot demand and increased speculation. Read more on PTI.
New Delhi, May 7 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday increased Rs 79 to Rs 10,723 per five quintals in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for May delivery traded higher Rs 79 or 0.74 per cent at Rs 10,723 per five quintals with an open interest of 19,720 lots.
Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
