Guar gum futures prices rose on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to increased speculator activity and firm spot demand.
New Delhi, Aug 27 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday increased Rs 42 to Rs 10,143 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for September delivery traded higher Rs 42 or 0.41 per cent at Rs 10,143 per quintal with an open interest of 37,120 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
