Guar Gum Futures Surge on Strong Demand

New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday increased Rs 32 to Rs 10,521 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 32 or 0.30 per cent at Rs 10,521 per quintal with an open interest of 45,290 lots.
Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
