Guar Seed Futures Decline Amid Ample Supplies - PTI

Guar seed prices fell on Thursday due to increased supply from producing regions. The February guar seed contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange dropped Rs 4 to Rs 5,316 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Feb 8 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 4 to Rs 5,316 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery plummeted Rs 4 or 0.08 per cent to Rs 5,316 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 31,720 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
