Guar seed futures decline amid ample supplies
Guar seed futures prices fell on Wednesday due to increased supplies from producing regions. The July contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange declined by Rs 40, or 0.73 percent, to Rs 5,476 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Jun 19 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday declined Rs 40 to Rs 5,476 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery plummeted Rs 40, or 0.73 per cent, to Rs 5,476 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 51,450 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
