Guar seed futures prices fell on Wednesday due to increased supply from producing regions. The October contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) closed at Rs 5,399 per quintal.
New Delhi, Sep 4 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday declined Rs 38 to Rs 5,399 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for October delivery fell Rs 38 or 0.70 per cent to Rs 5,399 per quintal with an open interest of 28,660 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
