Guar seed futures prices fell on Tuesday due to increased supply from producing regions, leading to a decline of Rs 35 to Rs 5,536 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Dec 12 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined Rs 35 to Rs 5,536 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for December delivery plummeted Rs 35 or 0.63 per cent to Rs 5,536 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 14,740 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
