Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply

Guar seed futures prices fell on Monday due to increased supply from producing regions. The decline was seen on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Jan 1 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 58 to Rs 5,507 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for January delivery plummeted Rs 58 or 0.31 per cent to Rs 5,507 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 46,500 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
