Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply

Guar seed futures prices fell on Wednesday due to increased supply from producing regions. The decline was attributed to ample supply.
New Delhi, Jan 17 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday declined Rs 22 to Rs 5,477 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for January delivery plummeted Rs 22 or 0.40 per cent to Rs 5,477 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 1,480 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
