Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply

Guar seed futures prices fell on Monday due to increased supply from producing regions. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw guar seed contracts for May delivery decline to Rs 5,410 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, May 6 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 21 to Rs 5,410 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery plummeted Rs 21 or 0.39 per cent to Rs 5,410 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 34,395 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
