Guar Seed Futures Decline on Increased Supply

Guar seed futures prices fell on Friday due to increased supply from producing regions. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw a decline in August delivery contracts.
New Delhi, Aug 9 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 15 to Rs 5,294 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery fell Rs 15 or 0.28 per cent to Rs 5,294 per quintal with an open interest of 15,320 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
