Guar Seed Futures Decline on Increased Supply

Guar seed prices fell on Monday due to rising supplies from producing regions, according to the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Feb 26 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 22 to Rs 5,364 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery plummeted Rs 22 or 0.41 per cent to Rs 5,364 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 66,405 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
