Guar seed futures prices declined on Monday due to increased supply from producing regions. The December contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange fell 3.54% to Rs 5,459 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Dec 18 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 193 to Rs 5,459 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for December delivery plummeted Rs 193 or 3.54 per cent to Rs 5,459 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 1,170 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
