Guar Seed Futures Drop on Ample Supply - PTI
Guar seed futures prices declined on Friday due to increased supply from producing regions, with February contracts falling to Rs 5,295 per 10 quintals on the NCDEX.
New Delhi, Feb 9 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 3 to Rs 5,295 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery plummeted Rs 3 or 0.06 per cent to Rs 5,295 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 26,080 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
