Guar seed futures declined in India on Monday due to increased supply from producing regions. The May contract on the NCDEX fell by 0.14% to Rs 5,525 per 10 quintals.
New Delhi, Apr 22 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 8 to Rs 5,525 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery plummeted Rs 8 or 0.14 per cent to Rs 5,525 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 62,220 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
