Guar Seed Futures Fall on Ample Supply - PTI
Guar seed futures prices declined on Wednesday due to increased supply from producing regions, according to PTI. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw a drop in May delivery contracts.
New Delhi, May 15 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday declined Rs 4 to Rs 5,472 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery plummeted Rs 4 or 0.07 per cent to Rs 5,472 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 980 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
