Guar Seed Futures Fall on Ample Supply

Guar seed futures prices declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) on Monday due to increased supply from producing regions.
New Delhi, Feb 5 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 95 to Rs 5,362 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery plummeted Rs 95, or 1.77 per cent, to Rs 5,362 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 43,875 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
