Guar Seed Futures Plunge on Ample Supply
Guar seed futures prices declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased supply from producing regions.
New Delhi, Jul 1 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Monday declined Rs 35 to Rs 5,346 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery plummeted Rs 35 or 0.65 per cent to Rs 5,346 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 39,365 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
