Guar Seed Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Guar seed futures prices gained Rs 10 on Thursday due to strong spot market demand and speculation. The October contract on NCDEX rose to Rs 5,392 per quintal.
New Delhi, Sep 5 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday rose Rs 10 to Rs 5,392 per quintal in futures trade after speculators widened their positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for October delivery grew Rs 10 or 0.19 per cent to Rs 5,392 per quintal with an open interest of 31,860 lots.

According to marketmen, speculators raised bets, a firm trend in the spot market and thin supplies from growing belts mainly led to the rise in guar seed prices.
