Infosys Fined USD 3,142 for Sales Tax Non-Payment in Texas

Infosys has been fined USD 3,142 by the Texas Comptroller for failing to pay sales tax in April 2024. The IT major was penalized for non-compliance with state tax regulations.
New Delhi, June 2 (PTI) IT major Infosys has been fined an amount of USD 3,142.02 (around Rs 2.60 lakh) by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, USA.
The penalty was imposed due to non-payment of sales tax for the period of April 2024, according to a regulatory filing.
