PNB Housing Finance Q3 Profit Up 26% to Rs 338 Cr

New Delhi, Jan 24 (PTI) PNB Housing Finance on Wednesday reported a 26 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 338 crore for the third quarter ended December 2023.

The non-banking finance company, promoted by Punjab National Bank, had earned Rs 269 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

Total revenue during the third quarter of the current fiscal fell to Rs 1,755 crore from Rs 1,797 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing.

Total income also moderated to Rs 1,756 crore in the quarter from Rs 1,797 crore in the year-ago period.

Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) declined to 1.73 per cent as on December 31, 2023 compared to 4.87 per cent at the end of the third quarter of previous fiscal.

The capital adequacy ratio stood at 29.53 per cent at the end of December 2023.
