Silver Futures Decline on Reduced Bets - PTI

Silver prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday due to reduced investor interest. The July contract closed at Rs 97,388 per kg, down Rs 615 from the previous day.

New Delhi, May 27 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday declined Rs 615 to Rs 97,388 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery depreciated by Rs 615 or 0.63 per cent to Rs 97,388 per kg in a business turnover of 17,391 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
In the overseas markets, silver futures was trading 1.10 per cent lower at USD 33.12 per ounce in New York.
