Silver Futures Fall: Prices Drop to Rs 1,08,300

Silver futures declined by Rs 266 to Rs 1,08,300 per kg due to reduced bets by participants. Analysts attribute the fall to a sell-off at existing market levels.

New Delhi, Jun 19 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday declined Rs 266 to Rs 1,08,300 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery decreased by Rs 266 or 0.25 per cent to Rs 1,08,300 per kilogram in a business turnover of 15,599 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, silver futures was trading marginally higher at USD 36.75 per ounce in New York.
