Silver Futures Fall: Prices Slip Rs 256

Silver futures decline by Rs 256 to Rs 1,12,680 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange; analysts cite sell-off by participants.
New Delhi, Jul 15 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday declined by Rs 256 to Rs 1,12,680 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery decreased Rs 256, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 1,12,680 per kilogram in a business turnover of 21,003 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.53 per cent higher at USD 38.33 per ounce in New York.
