Silver Futures Rise on Increased Demand - PTI

Silver prices climbed on Thursday driven by increased demand from participants, according to the Multi Commodity Exchange. Global silver prices also saw an uptick.
New Delhi, Jan 16 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday rose Rs 58 to Rs 92,914 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 58 or 0.06 per cent to Rs 92,914 per kg in a business turnover of 21,156 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.27 per cent higher at USD 30.73 per ounce in New York.
