Silver Futures Surge on Spot Demand | PTI

New Delhi, Sep 10 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday jumped Rs 389 to Rs 84,034 per kilogram in futures trade as participants widened their bets on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery increased Rs 389 or 0.47 per cent to Rs 84,034 per kg in 31,535 lots.
Analysts said the rise in silver prices was mainly due to fresh positions built up by participants on a positive domestic trend.
Globally, silver was trading 0.59 per cent higher at USD 28.82 per ounce in New York.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery increased Rs 389 or 0.47 per cent to Rs 84,034 per kg in 31,535 lots.
