Silver Futures Surge: Price Rises to Rs 90,924/kg

Silver prices climbed Rs 368 to Rs 90,924 per kg on Wednesday driven by increased investor interest. Find out why the precious metal is on the rise.
New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday rose Rs 368 to Rs 90,924 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 368 or 0.41 per cent to Rs 90,924 per kg in a business turnover of 21,730 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.69 per cent higher at USD 30.56 per ounce in New York.
