New Delhi, Dec 23 (PTI) Silver prices on Monday jumped Rs 1,064 to Rs 89,456 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 1,064 or 1.2 per cent to Rs 89,456 per kg in a business turnover of 33,602 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 1.16 per cent higher at USD 29.86 per ounce in New York.
