Silver Prices Fall Rs 253 to Rs 90,260/kg - MCX

Silver futures on MCX fell by Rs 253 to Rs 90,260 per kg on Tuesday due to reduced bets by participants. Global silver prices also saw a decline.
New Delhi, Jan 14 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday fell Rs 253 to Rs 90,260 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery declined Rs 253 or 0.28 per cent to Rs 90,260 per kg in a business turnover of 22,092 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.17 per cent lower at USD 29.66 per ounce in New York.
