Xero EVs and VoltUp collaborate to offer last-mile delivery charging solutions with swappable batteries, aiming to put 15,000 electric two-wheelers on the road within two years.

New Delhi, Dec 27 (PTI) Electric two-wheeler maker Xero EVs and battery swapping platform VoltUp on Wednesday announced a collaboration to offer last-mile delivery charging solutions.
This partnership will leverage Xero's electric vehicle product Mink and VoltUp's swappable battery network of around 200 stations and aims to get 15,000 electric two-wheelers on the road within the next two years. It will also work towards leveraging the technology in other models of Xero two-wheelers, the company said in a statement.
"By integrating Xero's energy-efficient products with VoltUp's swappable battery network, we are creating a solution that not only meets but exceeds the demands of last-mile delivery partners," Xero EV Co-Founder Bharat Pritmani said.
The integration of VoltUp's platform into Xero EVs Mink model will significantly reduce charging times, enabling riders to optimise their time on the road and eliminate the waiting game associated with traditional charging or fast charging stations, Ritesh Singh, VoltUp Head - Business & Strategy, said.

MG Motor India partners with Zeon Electric to expand EV charging network
* MG Motor India on Wednesday said it has signed a pact with Zeon Electric Pvt Ltd to boost its current EV charging infrastructure.
Zeon Electric is the sixth charging point operator (CPO) that MG has partnered with. This partnership will focus on strengthening the EV ecosystem at key locations, covering highways, cities, and MG dealerships in Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, the company said in a statement.
MG customers will receive exclusive offers for charging at the Zeon kiosks.
Zeon's over 300 AC and DC chargers in key locations will be added to MG's current network of 12,000 chargers so far, it added.
