Zinc prices fell 1.26% on Thursday, driven by reduced speculator interest and subdued demand from consuming industries. Learn more about the market trends.
New Delhi, Jul 25 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell 1.26 per cent to Rs 250.30 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for August delivery traded Rs 3.20 or 1.26 per cent lower at Rs 250.30 per kg in 1,864 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
