Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Zinc prices fell 0.43% on Tuesday due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI. Speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
New Delhi, Oct 29 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday fell 0.43 per cent to Rs 288.70 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded Rs 1.25 or 0.43 per cent lower at Rs 288.70 per kg in 2,648 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
