Zinc futures prices fell 1.13% on Wednesday to Rs 284.60 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to weak demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 1.13 per cent to Rs 284.60 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded Rs 3.25 or 1.13 per cent lower at Rs 284.60 per kg in 2,712 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
