New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell 1.71 per cent to Rs 270.75 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded Rs 4.70 or 1.71 per cent lower at Rs 270.75 per kg in 819 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
