Zinc prices fell 1.70% on Thursday due to weak demand from consuming industries and speculation reduction, according to PTI. The decline was observed in futures trade on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Nov 28 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell 1.70 per cent to Rs 285.95 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded Rs 1.70 or 0.59 per cent lower at Rs 285.95 per kg in 3,590 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
