Zinc futures prices slipped 0.15% on Thursday to Rs 267.70 per kg due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Feb 27 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday slipped 0.15 per cent to Rs 267.70 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery traded 40 paise or 0.15 per cent lower at Rs 267.70 per kg in 2,355 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
