Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI
Zinc futures prices fell 1.11% on Tuesday to Rs 276.70 per kg due to reduced speculator exposure and weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Mar 18 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday fell 1.11 per cent to Rs 276.70 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded lower by Rs 3.10 or 1.11 per cent at Rs 276.70 per kg in 691 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
